As I have just finished uploading my Silverstars 40,000 series, I wanted to take a moment to explain it.

First off, I must impress that I did not draw anything. What I did was use a html based painter found on the Bolter and Chainsword forum, which allowed me to set colours for areas of the model. The site can be found here [link]

Given I drew nothing, can I call this my work. I asked myself that question, wondered if what I was doing was art, but eventually I realised that in a certain sense it was. I had to choose colours and tones and place them in a relationship to each other that 'looked good'. Choice of colour and wargear was carefully chosen to reflect aspects of the ethos and feel of different nations. I think that, if I've succeed, you can call that art.

Apart from the debate about whether these pictures deserve to be here, this was mainly a personal project for myself and the small number of people who are intimate with my fantasy world. If anyone else gets enjoyment out of them, then that's a bonus.
